In September 2022, economic sentiment indicator decreased

In September 2022, compared to August, the economic sentiment indicator, i.e. confidence of economic actors – producers, consumers and investors – in Lithuania's economy, decreased from minus 4.2 to minus 8.2 percent, reports Statistics Lithuania.

This was influenced by the ongoing war in Ukraine and increased energy prices: in September, 4.1 percent of respondents stated that their company's activities were limited by the situation caused by the war, 5.6 percent - increase in energy prices.
