Weaponry production capability to grow: more assistance to Ukraine discussed in Brussels

On 28 September, Deputy Minister of National Defence Vilius Semeška took part in an extraordinary meeting of national armament directors held in Brussels under the auspices of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group to address immediate and long-term assistance to Ukraine. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Volodymyr Havrylov, representatives of NATO allies, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Serbia, Switzerland, and other countries, said the Ministry of National Defence.

“The Russian aggression can only be stopped if we expeditiously step up the supply of weapons to Ukraine and the volumes produced. It is vital that Ukraine continues receiving air defence systems, ammunition, UAVs, other heavy weaponry,” Deputy Minister Semeška said about the meeting.
