Ex-minister says Lithuania should not accept every Russian trying to avoid mobilisation

Ambassador-at-large Linas Linkevičius, former minister of foreign affairs of Lithuania, believes that debates on whether to allow entry to Russians fleeing from mobilisation should take place on the level of the European Union.

Speaking about Berlin’s announcement that Germany is ready to accept Russians avoiding military service, the diplomat expressed concern that European countries would face serious national security risks if they allowed entry to all Russians.
