Majority of Russians crossing border meet criteria set by Government

After Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland on 19 September restricted the entry of Russian citizens due to Russia’s war against Ukraine, the majority of travellers meet the criteria set by the Government of Lithuania and are allowed to cross the border.

Representative of the State Border Guard Service (VSAT) Giedrius Mišutis told the news agency ELTA that 23 Russian citizens were denied entry on Wednesday, 20 on Tuesday and 21 on Monday, 19 September, when restrictions took effect.
