Coronavirus: 1,707 new cases detected

On 20 September, Tuesday, 1,707 residents of Lithuania were diagnosed with COVID-19 but patients did not succumb to the disease.

According to Statistics Lithuania, 1,249 people contracted the virus for the first time, 447 for the second time and 11 for the third time.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 1,240,000 since the outbreak of the pandemic. There are currently 20,747 active cases.
