Amid the approaching winter heating season, rising energy prices and high inflation chief adviser to the president on economic and social policy Irena Segalovičienė suggests increasing people’s income by raising the tax-exempt amount of income, the minimum salary and child benefits, and recalculating all social payments. She says the state still has many opportunities to borrow money to fund these measures.
