According to the State Border Guard Service (VSAT), it stopped 4,245 migrants from entering Lithuania illegally from Belarus so far this year and 8,106 in 2021.
Thirteen illegal migrants tried to cross from Belarus to Latvia on Tuesday, whereas 13 others tried to cross illegally from Belarus to Poland on Monday.
