Latvian border guards stopped 20 migrants who were trying to access Latvia illegally from Belarus on Tuesday, whereas Polish border guards thwarted 21 border violation attempts on Monday.
According to the State Border Guard Service of Lithuania (VSAT), so far this year, 3,438 migrants were not allowed to enter the country illegally from Belarus. In 2021, the number stood at 8,106.
