Industrial production totalled EUR 2.8bn in June

In June 2022, industrial production totalled EUR 2.8 billion at current prices and, compared to May, seasonally and calendar adjusted, decreased by 1.8% at constant prices (unadjusted – 3.6%), reports Statistics Lithuania.

Over the month, seasonally and calendar adjusted, a decrease in production was observed for the manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations – 45.4% (unadjusted – 50.6%), refined petroleum products – 28.2% (unadjusted – 30.1%), other transport equipment – 8.3% (unadjusted – 4.6%), wood and wood products, except furniture – 7.2% (unadjusted – 10.5%).

In January–June 2022, industrial production totalled EUR 18.2 billion at current prices and, compared to the same period of 2021, calendar adjusted, increased by 15.9% at constant prices (unadjusted – 16.2%).
