Data published by Statistics Lithuania indicates that the total number of confirmed cases in the country has reached 1,171,034 since the outbreak of the pandemic. Currently, 10,320 people are ill.
The death toll due to COVID-19 in Lithuania stands at 9,191. Nobody died of the disease on Monday.
The average number of new daily cases in the last 7 days is 693. The incidence rate per 100,000 residents in the last 14 days is 291.6. The positive test rate in the last 7 days stands at 47%.
By now, 941,452 residents have been fully vaccinated.
On 18 July, 29 people were hospitalised and now 119 hospital beds allocated for coronavirus patients are occupied. Six patients are being treated in intensive care units.
On Monday, 285 molecular PCR tests, 1,884 antigen tests and 173 antibody tests were carried out.
