Data published by Statistics Lithuania indicates that the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 1,169,673 since the outbreak of the pandemic. Currently, 9,432 people are ill.
The death toll due to COVID-19 in Lithuania stands at 9,190. Deaths were not recorded on Friday and Sunday, but two patients died on Saturday.
The average number of new daily cases in the last 7 days is 646. The incidence rate per 100,000 residents in the last 14 days is 266.7. The positive test rate in the last 7 days stands at 44.7%.
By now, 4,490,905 vaccine doses were administered and 941,452 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
As of Monday, 84 people are being treated for COVID-19 in hospital. Six patients are being treated in intensive care units.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 6,578,520 molecular PCR tests, 2,168,063 antigen tests and 1,282,893 antibody tests were carried out.
