Over the month, prices for consumer goods increased by 2.7%, those for consumer services – 1.4%.
Prices for consumer goods and services regulated by State and municipal authorities increased by 2.5%, market prices – 2.3%.

In June 2022, against May, prices for transport goods and services increased by 7%. The most significant rise was recorded in prices for passenger transport by sea and inland waterway (26.7%), passenger transport by rail (16.5%), petrol (13.3%), passenger transport by air (13.1%), diesel fuel (9.3%), liquefied gas for cars (6.7%), cars (3.4%).

Prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 2.6%. A most significant price change was observed for certain fresh fruit and vegetables: the largest price rise was recorded for beetroot, sweet paprika, grapefruit, carrots, blueberries, while the largest price drop – head lettuces, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocado, white cabbage. Prices for crisps, coffee, kephir and curdled milk, curd cheese, fermented cheese also went up, though prices for fresh or chilled seafood, olive oil went down.

Prices for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels goods and services increased by 2.8%. Major rise was recorded in prices for liquefied fuel (15.7%), heat energy (8.6%), liquefied gas for cooking (7.1%), housing rent taxes (2.6 percent), products and materials for the maintenance and repair of the dwelling (2%).

Due to seasonal discounts, prices for clothing and footwear decreased by 1.1%. Prices for footwear went down by 2.8%, for clothing – 0.5%.

In June 2022, annual (June 2022, against June 2021) inflation rate stood at 21%. Annual inflation was mainly influenced by an increase in prices for fuels and lubricants, heat energy, milk and milk products, cheese and eggs, solid fuels, bread and cereal products, meat and meat products, restaurants, cafes and the like, gas, vegetables, maintenance and repair of personal transport equipment, oil and fats, as well as by a decrease in prices for clothing, information processing equipment.

Over the year, prices for consumer goods increased by 24.7%, those for consumer services – 12.1%.
Over the year, prices for consumer goods and services regulated by State and municipal authorities increased by 26.2%, market prices – 20.1%.

In June 2022, average annual inflation rate stood at 12%.
