Held from May 31 through June 9, the exercise was linked to two other NATO exercises, Ramstein Alloy and Ramstein Guard, aimed at building up NATO air defense force cooperation, interoperability and integration in the overall NATO air defense command and control.

The exercise involved the Czech and Spanish contingents currently stationed in Lithuania as part of NATO's air policing mission, the Belgian and French contingents stationed in Estonia, British refueling and electronic-warfare aircraft, Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets and the Turkish Air Force's AWACS aircraft.
