The value of this equipment is estimated at 15.5 million euros, the ministry said.

"We are handing over armored personnel carriers, 200 of which have been given to Ukraine by the US. We are also sending trucks and all-terrain vehicles Ukraine needs. Our and allied coordinated support is crucial for Ukraine's victory," National Defense Minister Arvydas Anusauskas was quoted as saying in the statement, pointing out the fact that Lithuania was the first to provide arms assistance before the war started.

Lithuania has so far provided Ukraine with Stinger air defense systems, anti-tank weapons, armored vests and helmets, 120 mm mortars, small arms, ammunition, thermal imaging cameras, drones, anti-drones and surveillance radars.

Lithuania's total military assistance provided to Ukraine to date is now valued at around 100 million euros.

Lithuania has also started training Ukrainians to use Western weaponry, and the first training sessions ended in late April and 20 anti-tank system instructors were trained, the ministry said.
