Around a third of all refugees have been registered in the capital's registration center. Others have registered with the Migration Department's territorial units, and with registration centers in Klaipeda, Kaunas, Kaunas, Alytus, Siauliai and Marijampole.

Of the total number of war refugees registered so far, more than 4,400 are children under the age of six, and 12,000 minors aged between six and 18 years.
