The survey asked 1,000 Lithuanian adults whether they would defend Lithuania, with arms if necessary, if it was attacked by Russia.

52 percent, including 68 percent of men and 38 percent of women, said yes. 27 percent, including 39 percent of women and 14 percent of men, said they would take part in unarmed resistance.

According to 15min, 71 percent of conscripts - men aged 18 to 55 – stated their willingness to defend Lithuania with arms if necessary.

20 percent of respondents answered negatively to the question whether they would defend Lithuania (with arms if necessary): 8 percent chose the answer "definitely not" and 12 percent –said "probably not".

The online survey was carried out by Norstat LT for 15min on March 16-22 when 1,000 Lithuanians aged between 18 and 74 were interviewed.
