The delegation of almost 30 people will include officials from Taiwan's Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Economy, Science and Technology, and Education, as well as scientists and businessmen, the head of Invest Lithuania said.

In February, Taiwan opened a joint research center on semiconductors and their materials in Vilnius, and it will help to implement precision machinery and semiconductor projects.

Taiwan announced in January it would soon offer 1 billion euros in funding for joint Lithuanian-Taiwanese business projects. Moreover, it vowed to set up a fund of 200 million US dollars investment in Lithuania's industrial sector.
