The Council of Experts made the recommendation on Monday, based on an analysis of the results of antibody tests in the population groups that were the first to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in Lithuania, according to the prime minister.

She said that the third-dose vaccination procedure would be laid down by Health Minister Arunas Dulkys in a decree.

Lithuania has been administering booster shots to a small group of immunosuppressed patients since early August.
