Neringa and Birstonas are leading as 27.8 percent of their residents have had at least one vaccine doze, followed by Druskininkai (21.6 percent), Rokiskis District (20.6 percent) and Jurbarkas District (20 percent).

Salcininkai District is at the bottom of the list with just 6.5 percent, followed by Vilnius District (9.8 percent).

Among major cities, Kaunas is in the lead with 19 percent, followed by Alytus (17.9 percent), Panevezys (15.7 percent), Siauliai (14.9 percent), Vilnius (14.6 percent) and Klaipeda (13.9 percent).

Since last Friday, some 85,291 people have been vaccinated, including 69,185 who have received the first doze and 16,106 people who have received the second doze.

In terms of age groups, 50.4 percent of people in the 70-79 age group have already received the first vaccine doze in Lithuania, compared to 42.6 percent of over-80, 27.3 percent of those aged 60-90. In other age groups, the share ranges from several to several dozen percent.

Up until now, 435,743 people in Lithuanian have been given the first vaccine doze, or 15.6 percent. And 185,444 people, or 6.6 percent, have already received two dozes.

Lithuanian has so far received a total of 717,245 vaccines and has used 621,187 of them.
