Economy and Innovation Minister Ausrine Armonaite, who presented the lockdown easing plan, said hairdressers and beauty salons would be permitted to serve only one customer at a time and would have to ensure at least 20 square meters for the customer.

If the plan gets the final approval, non-grocery shops with direct access from the street will be allowed to reopen, too. They will also have to ensure at least 20 square meters of floor space per customer.

At Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte's proposal, the Cabinet approved the plan "in principle" and plans to vote on the respective resolution on Wednesday.

A proposal on outdoor retailers is also to be tabled on Wednesday, according to Simonyte.
