Received from December 27 until January 28, 297 reports were related to the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, and another 13 had to do with the Moderna jab. One report did not state which vaccine was suspected to have caused an adverse reaction.

"That (a small number of reports on adverse reactions from the Moderna vaccine – BNS) has to do with the fact that vaccination with the Moderna vaccine started only on January 18," he noted.

According to Andrulionis, reports on adverse reactions made around "0.37 percent of the used vaccine dozes". Over 84,000 vaccine dozes were used during the assessment period, the SMCA said.

Andrulionis also paid attention to the fact that Lithuania's data did not stand out in this area, compared to other European countries.

Out of the total number of reports on adverse reactions, 298 were classed as mild or moderate severity and 13 were severe.
