Lithuania’s 14-day case notification rate has reached nearly 1,004 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, according to the center’s data update published.

The first among 30 countries is the Czech Republic with the 14-day case notification rate of nearly 1,513 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Ireland ranks the second with the rate of 1,254 cases and is followed by Slovenia in the third place with the rate of 1,172 cases.

As regards the 14-day death notification rate, Lithuania ranks second with the rate of 345 deaths per 1,000,000 inhabitants. The first is Liechtenstein with the rate of 573 deaths per million population.

Meanwhile, the best rates among the countries monitored by the ECDC are found in Iceland and Finland.

According to the latest data, Iceland has the 14-day case notification rate of 48 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the 14-day death notification rate of 2.8 deaths per 1,000,000 inhabitants. Finland has the rates of 63 cases and 9.2 deaths.
