These are Liutauras Stoskus and Gintautas Terleckas of the Lithuanian List party, Antanas Kandrotas, Stanislav Ladinskij and Viaceslav Titov of the Union of Fighters for Lithuania, Stanislovas Buskevicius of the Young Lithuania party, and two independents – Zilvinas Neliubsys and Alina Adomaityte.

The election watchdog said 24 candidates had gathered the necessary number of signatures and another five had withdrawn their application documents.

Independents and candidates of political parties that do not run in the multi-member constituency must collect at least 1,000 signatures to be eligible to stand in single-member constituencies.

Lithuania will elect its next parliament on October 11.
