Matulionis takes post as Prime Minister's foreign policy adviser
Deividas Matulionis, Lithuania's former ambassador to Germany, on Friday took post as foreign policy adviser to Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis.
"Today is his first day in office," Tomas Berzinskas, spokesman for the prime minister, told BNS.
Matulionis headed Lithuania's diplomatic mission in Berlin for 4.5 years. Before the ambassadorial appointment, he served as chancellor in the government of Andrius Kubilius.
